Yina Liu is a second year Ph.D. student in Language and Literacy Education at the University of Alberta. Her research interests are makerspace, digital literacy, Newcomer Learners, and children’s literature. She completed her Master of Education in University of Saskatchewan. The thesis entitled: Interrogation of Literary Content Based on a Case Study of Three Adult Immigrants Recalling Childhood Transitions to Canada. Presently, she is working as a GRA with Linda. She works forward to learn from the PDG team.
