Linda is the primary investigator in this Partnership Development Grant project funded by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). She has previously worked as a primary investigator in other international and collaborative SSHRC projects (Insight Development Grant, 2011–2013; Insight Grant, 2013–2019). Her program of research has been located in the field of early literacy education and has been primarily concerned with examining relationships across home, school and identity and their effects on literacy development and on the emergence of personal, social, and cultural understanding for young children. She has collaborated with teachers, school districts, and ministry of education curriculum developers in digital literacy research in Canada, Australia, and the United States.
